Artist, mosaicist, and arts educator, Chief Jimoh Buraimoh is one of the most important visual artists to burst from the flames of Nigeria's African Art Explosion in the early 1960īs.
Emerging from the experimental workshops that later came to be known as the Osogbo School of Art, he is celebrated globally as Africa's First Bead Painter and has remained a significant force in worldwide contemporary art for over 40 years. |
