Artist, mosaicist, and arts educator, Chief Jimoh Buraimoh is one of the most important visual artists to burst from the flames of Nigeria’s African Art Explosion in the early 1960´s.
Emerging from the experimental workshops that later came to be known as the Osogbo School of Art, he is celebrated globally as Africa’s First Bead Painter and has remained a significant force in worldwide contemporary art for over 40 years. |
